Carole Lemire - Stylist

Top Ten Alberta Hair Stylist of the Year in 2009 and finalist in the 2011 National Wella Trend Vision competition, Carole started her career in the hair industry as a personal assistant to Eveline Charles and spent fifteen years working with Eveline which included five years as part of her hand selected salon creative team. 

Truly a master hair stylist and owner of Soho, she always embraces the Vidal Sassoon fierce precision methodology of cutting hair when approaching classic or modern cuts.  Carole has invested considerably in her education having taken numerous courses at the world renowned Sassoon Master Academy in London, England where she has perfected her remarkable vision, depth of knowledge and creativity when cutting and coloring hair the Sassoon way.  She has an astute awareness of fashion, trends and style, and is always more than happy to translate this to her clients through a charming, warm and personable air.

Education, fashion, travelling, style, art and music are what keeps Carole excited and focused in her career.  She is modern, independent and confident in her abilities and inspries to work with a team of stylists who share in her passion for the Sassoon way of cutting and colouring.

Lia - Stylist

Lia is sincere and extremely personable stylist who is another one of the talent-rich army that has graduated from the advanced education program at the distinguished Eveline Charles Academy.  After cycling across Central and South America in 2009, Lia came home to pursue her dream of becoming a stylist and dove head first into her career at Soho.  Soho Master Hair Stylists was Lia's first choice because the focus is cutting and coloring the Sassoon Way.  A great addition to the Soho Team, Lia has spent hundreds of hours training and learning the Sassoon way of presicion cutting and colouring from Carole Lemire. Lia keeps busy by volunteering and perfecting her styling skills at Edmonton hair events such as NAIT’s Next Top Model, Western Canada Fashion Week, EC Beauty Boot Camp, Pink Hair Massacre and many others.

Ashley - Stylist

Having travelled the world and spent time attending school in Switzerland, Ashley has a unique perspective on international trends and fashion.  After working as a professional paralegal, Ashley decided to leave her desk job behind to find a creative career.  A graduate of the advanced training program at Est-Elle Academy of Hair Design in Edmonton, Ashley was formally recognized at the top of her class at Est-Elle.  Ashley has worked diligently beside Carole Lemire to soak up and refine her precision cutting technique using textbook Sassoon styling methodology.  Ashley loves to introduce people to how great colour can be and loves to create Sassoon inspired looks that balance classic and edgy styling, emphasizing natural texture and easy to manage effortless style.

Jodie - Stylist

Jodie is a graduate of the prominent Modern College of Hair Styling in Toronto and finished at the top of her class with honours and academic acheivement. She has creative talent, a sharp technique, contagious enthusiasm and a remarkable appetite for Sassoon presicion cutting and colouring, which is the reason she chose to continue her styling career at Soho Master Hair Stylists. Constantly looking to grow her skillset, she has attended numerous classes and seminars on specialized colouring techniques with some of the top leaders in the hair industry.  Jodie has also worked behind the scenes styliing hair for major product companies at national trade shows and as well, at industry fashion shows in both Quebec and Ontario.  

Josee - Salon Director

Josee, a Universtiy of Alberta graduate, successful teacher by trade and Soho owner, has always had at least one hand in the world of hair and fashion during her teaching career.  Having worked as Carole's assistant for many years, she has also worked in retail fashion in London, England and as well, for an Aveda concept salon in Dallas, Texas.  Josee is a stickler for detail and will accept nothing less than perfection when it comes to client happiness. 

Kelsey - Salon Assistant

In a busy salon like Soho, it's the little things that matter and Kelsey is always at the ready with a huge smile on her face when it comes to keeping the days running smoothly at Soho.  Aside from her time at Soho, Kelsey stays busy by teaching dance at a successful Edmonton studio and is also in the process of completing school.  She has big plans to attend the University of Alberta to obtain a degree in physical education next year and until then, she will continue to be an integral and valuable member of Team Soho.
