Last month was a month I won’t soon forget!  In fact, almost a month later, I’m still on cloud nine after spending a full week at the Sassoon Masters Academy in London, England studying mens barbering.  After years of training in Sassoon cutting and coloring for women, studying mens barbering was an exciting change.  Not only did I get to learn from two amazing Sassoon barbers, Scott and Josh, I also had the chance to stand shoulder to shoulder for the entire week with classmates from Latvia, Spain, Switzerland, India and Romania.  

The course encompassed classic cuts and fashion forward barbering work which provided me with new skills in the dedication of cutting, styling and finishing techniques found in Sassoon barbering.  I left London inspired and excited to share my newfound knowledge with the rest of the Soho styling team and in fact just last week, I held a day long course barbering seminar for the girls at Soho.
