It’s been almost two and half years since I opened the doors at Soho in Edmonton and I have to say, never in my wildest dreams did I ever expect owning a salon would be as rewarding and fulfilling as it actually has been. When I look at how Soho has grown from an dream conceptualized in a single evening with some great friends at a lounge in Soho in NYC to where we are today, I can’t help but feel like I’ve had a lucky star shining down on me. 

I’ve been fortunate to have so much support in my life and I’m even more fortunate to work with a passionate team of stylists who have grown to love and embrace Sassoon’s method of precision cutting and colouring.  It seems so fitting to be launching our new website at a time when I feel like all of the pieces to the puzzle are finally in place.  During the last 3 months we’ve renovated the salon to add two new cutting chairs, we’ve hired new stylists to fill the roster completely, I’ve hired a full time assistant and we’ve added an ultra luxury hair care line from New York called Oribe.  

If the quote above really is true, and I suspect it is, I couldn’t imagine living on top of the mountain.  Soho is simply way too much fun to consider slowing down and our growth and success provides me with happiness daily.
