After 13 years working for Eveline Charles, my mentor and truly amazing lady, it took a recent trip to New York with my fiancé Greg and some great friends to give me the confidence to take a new path in life.  Although the seed had been planted by my sister Josee many years ago, it was during our weekend in NY that the love of my life proposed and I received some great life advice.  It was this “perfect storm” of inspiration that motivated me to finally open my own salon.  With a fitting name, Soho Master Hair Stylists was born that weekend!

The last two months have been filled with excitement and anticipation.  At times I have struggled to contain myself, as the many long hours of preparation and planning are finally about to come to fruition.  With the tremendous help of the my sister Josee, fiancé Greg and super stylist, Sandy Nault, I am thrilled to announce we are two weeks away from opening the doors.

Envisioning the salon came naturally.  When our interior designer asked us to describe the salon in three words, we gave her urbane, elegant and inviting.  We worked hard to carry this theme through out the salon.  Some of the elements I am most proud of are the sleek Nick Arrojo designed cutting chairs, the internationally recognized Minardi Color Perfect lighting system from NY, the simply amazing steel-like floor from Spain and the warm and inviting fireplace in the waiting area.

At Soho we want to inspire, educate, care and help you with your fashion forward look.  Our stylists will cut each client with technical precision according to their face shape, hair texture, style and life style.  Color also complements the cut; eye color and skin tone will always be considered when choosing your color.  Modern, elegant, sophisticated, chic and effortless are the qualities we will achieve with the help of our exclusive and luxury hair product line.

I owe a huge thank you to everyone in my life who has not only helped with Soho in the last two months, but also to family, friends and clients who have never stopped inspiring me.   I look forward to seeing you in June and at our upcoming Grand Opening party in July!
