Over the last 15 years as a hair stylist in Edmonton, my passion and hunger for education has never stopped for a second.  Starting with my time working for Eveline Charles, I was fortunate to travel with her across North America to a variety of industry events where I had the opportuntiy to meet and be taught by some of the most talented and well respected people in the world of hair.  It was about 6 years ago that I found Sassoon and fell in love with his prescision style of cutting and colouring hair.  Since then, I’ve been able to travel to London, England to study at the Sassoon Masters Academy a handful of times.

When the opportuntity arose to be one of eight people to take a 3 Day Collection Course with Mark Hayes, the International Creative Director for Sassoon in Toronto in October, I knew that it was a once in a lifetime chance to spent time with the man hand selected by Sassoon to carry on his legacy.

The premiere Collection Course has been designed to teach fashion based skills and techniques and includes a professional photoshoot of each student’s work at the end of the course.  I have no doubt that I will arrive back to Soho with loads of inspiring education and techniques that will allow our entire team to push their creative boundries which will absolutely translate into amazing hair styles for each and every Soho client that walks in the door.
