What haircut will you be introducing your clients to for Fall /Winter 2012?
The new Sassoon Fall collection called Hot Rod has a cut that is absolutely amazing. It has short internal graduation throughout the back nape area; the sides are disconnected in a very interesting way. The layers promote movement and a little natural height and the fringe is short and very modern. The hairstyles, which contrasted short, head-hugging shapes through the back with layers that offer a modern pronunciation.
What colour technique is next?
Sassoon’s new colour technique called Flames is the next big thing in hair colour. It allows colour to come from the interior of the haircut making it more interesting and modern.

What should be everyone’s short go-to haircut for Fall/ Winter 2012?
I believe that having a form of disconnection in their haircut should be key to their new look; it can be visible or no visible. A form of disconnection in your cut will make your look fresh and modern even if you prefer classic shapes.
What is your favourite Sojourn hair care product?
Definitely the Texture Molding Paste. It defines, styles and holds the cuts into place without weighing the hair down.

What hair colour is next, in your opinion for Fall/Winter 2012?
The new Sassoon colour technique called Flames. We will be seeing a lot of purple, red, copper and white blond hair blending together to create an exciting new look.

The Thermal Protection Straightener. It protects the hair from blow dryers, flat irons and curling wands. It adds natural moisturizers back into the hair, softens the hair and leaves it light and shiny.

What look are you excited about for Fall/Winter 2012?
I believe that a heavy fringe will be a key look for the season and with the right shape anyone can look like high fashion.
What is your absolute favourite Sojourn hair care product?
It has to be the Monoi Oil. We can’t keep it on our shelves. It is made with Keratin Cashmere and Cystine proteins, which is the building blocks of your hair. It conditions, shines and protects your hair and leaves it lightweight.

What hair colour and technique are you super excited about for Fall/ Winter 2012?
A technique called ombre, sombre and molten ombre, and these techniques can be done on brunettes, red heads or blonds. It’s from the 70’s, however the new Fall/ Winter technique bring in the new 2012 season and is softer and more modern.
What is your go to Sojourn hair care product?
The Smooth Serum because it protects the hair from heat, makes dry, fly away, wavy/curly hair instantly smooth, soft and shiny without weighting it down.

What hair colours will you be introducing your clients to for Fall/Winter 2012?
Brunettes will be moving away from highlights and will be going deeper and cooler. Red heads will be more gingery then ruby and blonds will be less golden and more icy and beige.

Either the Moisture Colour, Smooth or Volume shampoo and conditioners. Use it for 10 days and your hair will be noticeably healthier. Your hair will thank you for it.
